Role Description
As a Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization Developer, you create solutions that automate tasks, simplify collaboration and work management, and improve process efficiencies related to enterprise information security risk and compliance.
- Use Low Code Application Platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform to quickly build customized web applications.
- Work with tools like MS Power BI to facilitate business process automation and streamline repetitive tasks.
- Connect data stored in various online and on-premises data sources to shape data-driven decision making.
- Experience with modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.) for front-end and back-end development.
- Utilize data interchange formats (JSON, XML, CVS, etc.) for storing and transmitting structured data.
- Understand API rules and protocols for enabling efficient communication between systems.
- Organize solution development around Agile best practices and project management tools such as Jira.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand needs and demonstrate developed solutions.
- Welcome feedback for continuous improvement.
- Possess cybersecurity domain knowledge and understand the security control assessment process.
- Work with Information Security and Compliance managers to develop or refine existing solutions.
Duties include:
- Develop/document user stories, workflows and requirements.
- Manage and prioritize requirements in Jira.
- Develop and maintain sprint schedule.
- Design, develop, test, deploy and support workflow automation solutions.
- Support AI Chatbot deployments.
- Demonstrate and refine solution features.
- Maintain issue log.
- Provide periodic progress/status reports.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain access to tools, test environments, data sets, etc.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree (Bachelor of Science Degree) from an accredited College or University in Business/Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience spanning information security and application development, or Master's degree + 5 years of experience.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Certified Power Platform Developer Associate or Functional Consultant Associate is a plus.

- Modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.).
- Data interchange formats (JSON, XML, CVS, etc.).
- API rules and protocols.
- CSAM and Smartsheet expertise is a plus.
