This role is responsible for leading the transformation of the IT/OT landscape from an Azure-centric model into a resilient, hybrid multi-cloud enterprise, while also building the infrastructure foundation required to enable AI across product lines and operations. Key duties include architecting hybrid strategy, expanding multi-cloud footprint, modernizing virtualization to containers, driving automation via Infrastructure as Code, and enabling AI infrastructure.

This role is responsible for the engineering and integrity of networking and communication systems' software, hardware, and configurations, including identifying, engineering, designing, and programming necessary infrastructure and applications. The engineer will also develop knowledge base documents, conduct knowledge transfer, and provide guidance to the engineering team and external service technicians.

The engineer will serve as the primary technical resource for Azure Government services, designing, implementing, and maintaining standardized Azure landing-zone patterns, Infrastructure as Code, and automated CI/CD deployments using GitLab CI. Responsibilities also include supporting platform users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring secure, compliant configurations through continuous monitoring and alerting within the Azure GovCloud tenant.

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the company's mission of transforming business processes through technology by leveraging cutting-edge technologies. This role heavily involves managing and developing cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
