Role Description

The Deltek Sr. Principal Partner Account Executive drives partner success by building strong relationships, enabling revenue growth, and ensuring disciplined operational execution across Deltek’s partner ecosystem. This role serves as the primary bridge between Deltek’s direct teams and solution partners, supporting forecasting rigor, program governance, and partner business planning.

  • Partner Relationship Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring access, alignment, and effective engagement with Deltek.
    • Proactively manage communications, resolve operational issues, and coordinate execution of joint strategies.
  • Sales & Forecasting
    • Ensure accurate weekly forecasts, maintain pipeline hygiene, and support partners in using Deltek forecasting tools and the Partner Portal.
    • Provide visibility into pipeline health and execution.
  • Business Planning & QBRs
    • Lead annual and quarterly partner business planning aligned to goals, metrics, and growth priorities.
    • Own QBR planning, facilitation, and follow-through, including ARR/MRR and geo/product analysis.
  • Partner Enablement & Readiness
    • Collaborate with enablement, marketing, and cross-functional teams to ensure partners meet readiness and ROE requirements.
    • Support product training, launches, sales plays, and operational readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with sales, GTM, enablement, professional services, marketing, and partner operations.
    • Resolve or escalate partner issues related to systems, access, or processes.
  • Governance & Program Integrity
    • Ensure compliance with partner program rules, ROE policies, and approved tools.
    • Maintain clear documentation of partner activity, plans, and action items.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Partner Management Experience
  • 2+ years of SaaS Account Executive Experience
  • ERP & CRM Experience a plus
  • GovCon Industry experience a plus
