Role Description

This role involves selling custom built, fully automated bulk packaging, Vertical Form Fill Seal systems with an average order value of $2 million. Your conversations will focus on:

  • Throughput
  • Uptime
  • Safety
  • ROI
  • Future-proofing operations

You’ll proactively learn and develop to own the full commercial lifecycle for your territory:

  • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan across Houston
  • Managing and growing key accounts while identifying new project opportunities
  • Leading complex, consultative sales processes from first conversation to contract signature
  • Conducting site surveys and working closely with customers to define technical and operational requirements
  • Writing and presenting detailed commercial proposals and forecasts
  • Negotiating with senior stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership teams
  • Working cross functionally with engineering, project delivery, and service teams to ensure flawless execution

This is a field-based role with regular customer visits. You’ll manage your own diary, priorities, and pipeline like a professional.

Qualifications

  • Educated in Engineering at degree level or above: Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • An ambitious, hard working attitude
  • Internal sales experience within engineering/manufacturing industries (advantageous)
  • Experience within hands-on engineering roles (advantageous)
  • Clear and concise communication skills

Requirements

  • Fresh, ambitious, technical person looking to transition into a sales environment
