• Develop and execute an independent, risk-based internal audit plan aligned to enterprise priorities. • Perform audits across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Technology, Vendor Management, and governance functions. • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls aligned with recognized risk and control frameworks. • Assess operational and enterprise risk practices, including escalation, oversight, and decision-making processes. • Validate controls supporting regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and ORSA-related inputs. • Identify control gaps, root causes, and pragmatic improvement opportunities. • Prepare clear, concise audit reports outlining findings, risk impact, and actionable recommendations. • Track remediation and perform follow-up testing to validate resolution. • Provide regular reporting and insight directly to executive leadership and the Audit Committee. • Serve as an independent liaison supporting governance oversight while remaining fully separate from operational management.
