Job Description
- A solid understanding of monitoring Server Operating Systems(Windows Server, RHEL)
- A solid understanding of WAN Concepts and Data Circuits (T1’s, MPLS, VPN and Enterprise VPN, Ethernet, Fiber, etc…)
- A solid understanding of network devices and their function (Routers, Switches, Access Points, Firewalls)
- Install, Upgrade, and Maintain Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux servers on VM platforms.
- Install, Upgrade, Maintain, and provide training/documentation for a suite of Monitoring Tools including but not limited to:
- Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
- Broadcom DX NetOps Spectrum
- Broadcom DX NetOps Network Flow Analysis
- Broadcom DX NetOps Performance Manager
- Dynatrace
- Nexthink
- Familiarity with Cisco IOS, Networking Config Files, Concepts and Hardware
- MS PowerShell
- SNMP v3 Traps and Polling
- SQL and MySQL
