Role Description
This role supports a leading AI research lab by contributing cybersecurity expertise to projects focused on improving the safety and reliability of advanced AI systems.
- Analyze technical content to identify potential cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities
- Apply knowledge of web security, attack patterns, and threat modeling to evaluate system behavior
- Review and assess AI-generated outputs for security implications
- Identify patterns related to exploits, vulnerabilities, and offensive security techniques
- Craft and solve challenging cybersecurity scenarios with real-world applicability
- Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified cybersecurity experts
Qualifications
- OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) certification
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, web security, and common attack patterns
- Experience with offensive security, penetration testing, or Capture-the-Flag (CTF) challenges
- Experience using Python or other data analysis tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong analytical thinking and pattern recognition skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent English proficiency
