This role involves supporting a leading AI lab in strengthening the accuracy, clarity, and reliability of legal reasoning in advanced AI systems.
- Write and refine prompts to guide model behavior in legal scenarios
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, reasoning, clarity, and completeness
- Review legal arguments and identify logical or factual inaccuracies
- Annotate responses, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and legal inconsistencies
- Assess tone and appropriateness for professional legal communication
- Ensure outputs align with evaluation frameworks, taxonomies, and system guidelines
- Apply consistent evaluation standards to produce high-quality review artifacts
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional legal experience
- Background as a practicing lawyer, legal consultant, or legal researcher
- Strong legal reasoning and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills
- High attention to detail and ability to identify subtle legal issues
- Experience reviewing legal arguments, documentation, or advisory materials
Requirements
- Experience with legal writing, editing, or academic legal research
- Familiarity with AI systems, model evaluation, or annotation workflows
- Experience working with structured evaluation frameworks or review systems
