  • Secure sponsorships and workplace giving commitments by identifying, cultivating, and presenting opportunities to external partners.
  • Develop and implement creative employee engagement and fundraising experiences that motivate participation, increase retention, and deepen mission connection.
  • Create, refine, and share fundraising resources, toolkits, and playbooks for centralized and volunteer-led community walk campaigns, ensuring they are scalable, easy to deploy, and adaptable for use by markets as needed.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach, including calls, emails, and virtual meetings, to recruit participants, secure commitments, and advance fundraising goals.
  • Support the development and coordinated execution of national team fundraising strategies, including leading national external fundraising teams and ensuring alignment with centralized and market-level efforts.
  • Proactively and adeptly manage donor, volunteer, and partner expectations in markets without local staff presence, addressing concerns, navigating frustration, and reinforcing value through clear communication, responsiveness, and consistent fundraising support.
  • Deliver external-facing presentations to volunteers, corporate partners, and community audiences that clearly communicate mission impact, expectations, and fundraising opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and support to volunteers and team leaders to drive fundraising performance and sustained engagement.
  • Track, analyze, and report fundraising activity and results, using data to inform strategy adjustments and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including Corporate Engagement, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment, resource availability, and effective execution.

    • Demonstrated success managing a personal fundraising portfolio with measurable revenue accountability.
    • Strong prospecting, solicitation, and relationship-building skills with individuals, volunteers, and corporate partners.
    • Comfort with high-volume outreach and frequent external communication, particularly by phone and virtual meeting.
    • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to track activity, measure results, and adjust strategy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn CRM and fundraising platforms.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a national team structure.

    • Mission-driven storyteller who can inspire participation and commitment through purpose and impact.
    • Adaptable and solution-oriented, able to pivot strategies based on performance and feedback.
    • Comfortable working in ambiguity and operating autonomously within defined goals and expectations.
    • Collaborative and respectful team member who values diverse perspectives and inclusive engagement.
