Role Description
Carrot Fertility Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Accounting team. This role is responsible for managing subscription billing operations, maintaining customer account accuracy, and supporting collections efforts to optimize cash flow.
- Oversee the end-to-end billing lifecycle
- Review contracts to ensure alignment with billing records
- Update customer information
- Generate invoices
- Respond to billing-related inquiries from both customers and internal stakeholders
This role requires someone who is organized, self-sufficient, and comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes are continuously improving. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and excited to help build scalable AR processes as the company grows.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable, billing, or related accounting experience
- Familiarity with accounting system NetSuite
- Experience with Salesforce to review customer records and support billing accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-changing environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reconciliations, and managing large datasets (pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas)
- High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information
Requirements
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Experience with subscription billing models (preferred)
- Experience with YayPay, Zendesk, Jira, or similar cloud-based systems (preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) (preferred)
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a high-growth environment (preferred)
