This senior leadership role drives the strategic development and operational excellence of software platforms that support customer service, field, and dealer operations. The Sr. Director – Technical Product Development – Operations Apps partners with business leaders to deliver innovative, high-quality technical solutions while guiding hybrid teams of employees and vendors. You will oversee platform enhancements, system reliability, and compliance with industry standards, ensuring operational efficiency and improved customer experiences.
- Lead the development, enhancement, and operation of contact center CRM, field service, and dealer management platforms.
- Guide business stakeholders on best-fit technical solutions and platform capabilities.
- Manage hybrid teams of employees and vendors to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions.
- Ensure non-functional requirements, including compliance, security, reliability, and performance, are met.
- Drive modern delivery practices, including AI-aided techniques, to improve time-to-market and operational efficiency.
- Oversee vendor performance and accountability for uptime, quality, and budget adherence.
- Resolve schedule, scope, and technical challenges while balancing business priorities and team efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience delivering operational capabilities on third-party SaaS platforms, ideally Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Expertise in Agile delivery frameworks, project management tools (e.g., Jira), and modern software development practices.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills to drive business value through technology delivery.
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including executives.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar vendor budgets and hybrid teams.
