Role Description
This role involves being a crucial part of our Telehealth Clinic and Outpatient programs as a Referral and Scheduling Coordinator - REMOTE.
- Be the friendly first point of contact for individuals, helping them schedule appointments and access telehealth services.
- Explain telemedicine services to individuals served, referral partners, medical offices, schools, and community agencies.
- Help individuals successfully connect to their telehealth appointments (tech support stars welcome!).
- Process and manage referrals, schedules, eligibility, consents, and documentation in our electronic health record.
- Coordinate care-related tasks such as lab requests, medical records, and required forms.
- Ensure provider schedules are accurate, complete, and aligned with scheduling guidelines.
- Support daily administrative workflows including faxes, emails, eligibility checks, and payment processing.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical, clinical, or fast-paced office setting.
- A designated home workspace with reliable internet.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort using technology, portals, scheduling systems, and EHRs.
- Bilingual skills are a plus!
