Role Description

This role involves creating high-quality spreadsheet templates intended for real-world business and productivity use.

• Design visually polished Excel spreadsheet templates for professional use
• Create structured templates such as planners, dashboards, trackers, budgets, and invoices
• Apply strong layout, formatting, and visual hierarchy principles to spreadsheet design
• Develop templates suitable for real-world productivity and business workflows
• Ensure templates are visually clear, easy to use, and professionally structured
• Produce spreadsheet assets that are polished, structured, and sellable for business users

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of full-time professional experience in design-related roles
• A college degree or higher
• Strong visual and aesthetic design skills focused on layout, hierarchy, and clarity
• Professional experience using Microsoft Excel for structured template creation
• Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing spreadsheet templates for productivity use
• Ability to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported)

Requirements

• A core background in visual design rather than primarily UX or product design
• Demonstrated experience designing business tools such as dashboards, planners, and financial trackers
• Strong understanding of professional spreadsheet usability and visual organisation
