Job Description
• Support, develop, implement, and execute the company's communications plan in support of its mission
• Align high-level messaging strategies with business goals
• Manage reputation and navigate complex challenges
• Enhance public perception and ensure the company's engagement builds the brand
• Support the President and CEO daily, including while he travels abroad
• Communicate with government officials; discretion is essential
• Provide efficient administrative support to the President/CEO
• Manage internal and external communications
• Manage daily schedule of President/CEO
• Handle travel arrangements and appointments
• Provide regular feedback/updates on the progress of assigned activities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills in English
- Extensive experience and proficiency in communications, including writing, editing, speaking notes, and presentations
- Additional language proficiency is a major asset
- Proficient in Word, Adobe, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in structuring PowerPoint Presentations on executive level
- Well-organized and able to work cooperatively with others throughout the company
- The ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
- The competence to preserve the confidentiality of special matters
- Ability to research different topics, including, but not limited to: government, software, media, and public financial management.
- Comfortable presenting any given research topic
- Demonstrated experience translating high-level strategy into a concrete communications plan
- Experience in the development of communications strategies
- Experience in creative, strategic, big-picture thinking combined with the ability to execute tactically
- Experience hosting virtual meetings, webinars, and workshops
- Experience with the university sector and communicating to an academic audience is highly desirable
- Travel required
