Role Description

This role is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership position responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and go-to-market of a portfolio of cloud-based IT and Security products. You will influence both technical and business decisions, working closely with engineering, UX, sales, marketing, and customer teams to deliver high-value solutions. This position requires deep domain expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product strategies. You will mentor other product managers, lead strategic initiatives, and represent the product at executive and industry levels. With a remote-first environment and occasional travel, this role offers autonomy, creative problem-solving, and the opportunity to shape products used by enterprise clients across complex data ecosystems.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of cloud-based IT and Security products, from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven assessments to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities.
  • Define and drive product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Build and grow partner ecosystems, supporting integration and adoption across customer environments.
  • Mentor and guide product managers at various levels, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Represent the product externally at industry events, customer meetings, and executive presentations.
  • Partner closely with field teams and customers to remove blockers, accelerate adoption, and drive expansion and renewals.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in product management or related roles, with extensive experience managing cloud-based products and full product lifecycles.
  • Deep understanding of IT, Security, and data streaming products, platforms, and integrations. Experience with AI-driven product features is a plus.
  • Proficient in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Amplitude, Heap) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate product value to diverse audiences including customers, executives, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor product managers, and drive strategic outcomes in remote and distributed teams.
  • Strong empathy for users, capable of demonstrating and advocating for product solutions to solve real-world problems.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel and managing work across multiple time zones.

Requirements

  • Competitive Salary: $225,000–$265,000 USD, dependent on location and experience.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance.
  • Retirement & Equity: 401(k) plan with employer match, equity grants, and eligibility for discretionary company-wide bonus.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunities to mentor, lead strategic initiatives, and influence product direction.
  • Remote-First Culture: Flexible work environment with occasional travel for collaboration and company events.
  • Additional Perks: Fertility treatment benefits, wellness programs, and a supportive, inclusive culture.
