Job Description
• Responsible for verification and collection of patient demographic and insurance information
• Perform verification of insurance benefits and complete timely notifications for required authorization
• Provide financial education and counseling to the patient related to insurance coverage
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED - Required
- Associate's Degree - Preferred
- 2 years in a customer service role - Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Required
- 3 - 5 years experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related medical field - Preferred
- Medical Terminology course work - Preferred
