Role Description
This role involves driving the implementation and optimization of Epic revenue cycle solutions for healthcare clients.
- Configure and optimize Epic revenue cycle applications across front-end, middle, and back-end functions.
- Support multiple concurrent Epic implementation or optimization projects.
- Analyze current-state workflows and recommend Epic-enabled solutions.
- Build and test Epic configurations including Patient Access, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Resolute applications.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and develop training materials.
- Document technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with project teams, client staff, and technical resources.
- Support go-live activities including command center support and issue resolution.
- Identify and resolve system issues, working with Epic and internal technical teams as needed.
- Contribute to knowledge management and best practice documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred).
- 4+ years of Epic revenue cycle experience in an implementation, optimization, or analyst capacity.
- Hands-on configuration experience with Epic revenue cycle applications.
- Working knowledge across front-end, middle, and back-end revenue cycle functions.
- Experience supporting at least one full Epic implementation or significant optimization project.
- Strong working knowledge of Epic revenue cycle applications including Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, and/or Revenue Guardian.
- Understanding of revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement models, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Epic reporting and analytics tools.
- Ability to configure Epic workflows, rules, and system settings.
