Job Description
• Design, own, and continuously improve a highly efficient, reliable global logistics program to support Shield AI’s tradeshows, product launches, and strategic events worldwide.
• Plan and execute complex domestic and international shipments, including sensitive, high-value, or oversized equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and return.
• Develop standardized processes, timelines, and playbooks for event logistics across regions.
• Partner closely with Field Marketing Managers and Business Development leaders globally to understand event objectives, timelines, and logistics requirements.
• Collaborate with Brand/Creative teams to ensure booth assets, demos, and materials arrive in pristine condition and are set up according to brand standards.
• Work with Procurement to source, negotiate, and manage cost-effective freight, shipping, drayage, and booth production contracts.
• Research, interpret, and navigate customs regulations and import/export requirements across global markets.
• Ensure all shipments are fully compliant with domestic and international trade regulations, export controls, and company policies.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks related to customs delays, regulatory changes, geopolitical factors, or last-minute event changes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, event production agencies, and venue partners worldwide.
• Manage vendor performance, service levels, and budgets to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
• Track budgets, timelines, and shipment statuses, providing clear communication and updates to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight management roles.
- 4+ years of experience working with an event production agency or events-focused logistics role, ideally supporting industrial, aerospace, or hardware-heavy customers.
- Extensive hands-on experience coordinating complex international shipments and navigating global customs regulations.
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and high-stakes events.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and geographies.
