Role Overview
We are seeking a finance professional who combines strong technical skills with sound judgment and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. The Finance Administrator will support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance Operations, this role plays an important part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting reporting cycles, and strengthening financial controls.
This position is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in an environment where processes and systems continue to evolve as the organization grows.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage accounts payable, invoice processing, and payment runs
· Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
· Maintain general ledger records and journal entries
· Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
· Support budget variance analysis and audit readiness
· Help strengthen financial processes, policies, and internal controls
Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
· 2–5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
· Experience working within a rapidly growing or scaling organization
· Experience supporting month-end close processes
· Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals
· Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, financial analysis)
· Experience working in QuickBooks Online and comfort adapting to evolving accounting systems, including supporting system integrations or migrations as the organization scales
Preferred
· Experience with international or intercompany financial management
· Experience with asset-management business models
· Background in mining, natural resources, or energy industries What We're Looking For
