Job Description
What are we looking for?
We’re hiring a technical Community Lead to own our public forum and keep users unblocked. You are hands-on: you can debug, give architecture guidance, and jump on calls when needed. You also build scalable community systems (automation, ambassadors, events) and run the feedback loop into product/support.
What will you lead?
Forum ownership + support routing: ensure every thread gets answered or redirected correctly (docs, support ticket, technical escalation)
Hands-on technical help: help users build apps, debug common issues, provide fixes/workarounds, and hop on calls to unblock
Automation + workflows: build systems that make support fast and scalable (macros, templates, AI workflows, routing)
Community programs: ambassadors, rewards/recognition, office hours, AMAs, hackathons
Feedback loop: triage/categorize/summarize themes and feed them into roadmap decisions; build lightweight fixes for recurring issues when needed
What skills do we expect you to have?
Strong TypeScript (you can actually debug and advise)
Strong AI skills (prompting, agent workflows, debugging AI behavior)
Excellent written and verbal communication
High-energy, creative, community-first
Nice-to-have: experience running/scaling an online community

Is Hercules in-office or remote?
Hercules founding team works in-office in San Francisco (Kearny and Bush). We have a very strong preference for in office. We are open to remote for exceptional candidates in US time zones who would be willing/able to travel to the office regularly.
