- Oversee and expand local and regional fundraising activities to support existing and future TutorSmart programs through corporate, individual, foundation gifts, and special events.
- Cultivate connections with community leaders, potential donors, and partners to enhance the organization's visibility and impact.
- Cultivate relationships with board members and leverage their connections for advancement initiatives.
- Oversee fundraising databases and tracking systems, using trend analysis to inform development strategies.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, stand, walk and sit for long periods of time.
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment and include operating a motor vehicle in a safe manner while attending scheduled meetings and events as required.
- Implement data-driven fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of fundraising principles, ethics, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled at building and maintaining professional relationships
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and relevant continuing education
- Must meet pre-employment requirements including background check
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience commensurate with the requirements of the job
- Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Great organizational and time management abilities
