Role Description
This role involves teaching Structured Literacy to students online, focusing on helping struggling readers make measurable progress.
- Teach small groups online using a proven, structured curriculum
- Work from home during the school day
- Collaborate with a supportive, mission-driven team
- Help close the literacy gap in diverse communities nationwide
Qualifications
- Experience with Structured Literacy / Science of Reading (online experience a plus)
- Holds SOR certification (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, etc.)
- Degree in Education (Early Childhood, Elementary, Literacy, SPED, Curriculum & Instruction, etc.)
- Holds a U.S. or Canadian teaching certification
- Experience working with diverse learners
- Available 2–3 hours, 3–4 days per week during school hours

- Excited to work in a start-up culture making dramatic impact
Benefits
- Compensation per 12-week class rather than hourly, including teaching, team meetings, assessments, and family communication
- Competitive and above market compensation with performance bonuses, ranging from $1000-$1200 base per 12-week class taught
