Role Description
The Programmatic Advertising Manager is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and analyzing programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple digital channels. This role manages demand-side platforms (DSPs), oversees audience targeting strategies, and ensures campaigns achieve performance and revenue goals.
This role requires deep expertise in programmatic ecosystems, ad exchanges, audience segmentation, and performance analytics.
This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
- Plan, launch, and manage programmatic advertising campaigns across display, mobile, video, and connected TV channels
- Operate and optimize campaigns using demand-side platforms (DSPs) and programmatic buying tools
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust bidding strategies, targeting, and budgets to maximize results
- Develop audience segmentation strategies using first-party and third-party data
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize creative, targeting, and bidding strategies
- Analyze campaign data and prepare performance reports for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure effective ad messaging and creative assets
- Manage relationships with advertising platforms, vendors, and data providers
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and data governance standards
- Stay informed about programmatic advertising trends, technologies, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in programmatic advertising, digital media buying, or ad operations
- Hands-on experience with programmatic advertising platforms such as The Trade Desk, Google Display & Video 360, Amazon DSP
- Strong knowledge of RTB (real-time bidding), ad exchanges, and audience targeting strategies
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data management platforms (DMPs) or customer data platforms (CDPs)
- Familiarity with programmatic video and connected TV advertising
- Experience working with advertising verification tools such as Double Verify or Integral Ad Science
- Knowledge of privacy frameworks and regulations affecting digital advertising
- Professional certifications in programmatic advertising or digital marketing
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $95,000 – $120,000 USD, depending on experience, industry background, and campaign management expertise
- Performance-based bonuses may be available
