Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with at least 1.5 years of dedicated experience in California's Workers Comp Defense System, defending employers, insurance carriers, and TPAs. You should be comfortable managing a high-volume caseload in a fully remote, paperless environment and have a track record of handling cases from inception to resolution. Bonus points if you have significant doctor deposition and trial experience.
- Represent clients in all aspects of workers' compensation defense at WCAB hearings, conferences, and trials.
- Take ownership of a full caseload, driving claims toward efficient and favorable resolutions.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents specific to CA workers' compensation law.
Qualifications
- At least 1.5 years of experience in California's Workers Comp Defense System
- Experience defending employers, insurance carriers, and TPAs
