Job Description

We litigate high-stakes cases involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. We are seeking an exceptional Law & Motion Attorney with a sharp legal mind and outstanding writing skills to support our shareholder in crafting persuasive legal arguments that drive successful outcomes.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is an accomplished legal writer with a strong background in employment law. This role requires superior analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into compelling, well-structured arguments. You will collaborate closely with our litigation team to develop winning case strategies and draft high-quality legal documents that stand out in court.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in California (preferred) or eligibility for admission.
  • 4+ years of experience in legal research and writing, with a strong focus on employment law.
  • Proven ability to draft high-impact legal briefs, dispositive motions, and appellate filings.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with litigation teams.

Job Requirements

  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and advocacy.
  • Draft and refine motions, oppositions, appellate briefs, and legal memoranda with precision and persuasive clarity.
  • Work closely with trial attorneys to craft compelling legal arguments tailored to each case.
  • Stay abreast of evolving employment law precedents, legislative changes, and court rulings.
  • Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to strengthen and refine legal positions.
