Role Description
The Ecommerce Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the presentation of product, promotions, and other communications across multiple digital channels for C3 Industries and High Profile Cannabis Shops. The role will focus on maximizing conversion rates, average order value, and customer experience through cross-functional collaboration and precise execution. The ideal candidate combines merchandising expertise with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work seamlessly within a variety of digital platforms to drive revenue growth in our highly regulated cannabis e-commerce environment.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate the execution and launch of promotional campaigns across digital platforms, including the website and in-store screen displays, with emphasis on conversion optimization.
- Support and maintain product categorization, taxonomy, and navigation structures for the customer, optimizing user experience and product discoverability, particularly on mobile devices.
- Manage retail store listings on the C3 websites and across numerous third-party sites, such as Google My Business, via a centralized platform, updating timely store information and continuing to optimize listings in accordance with retail strategy.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing, Buying and Planning, Retail Operations, and Retail teams to inform strategic decisions, improvements, and opportunities based on a detailed understanding of available digital platform features.
- Collaborate with key C3 partners and vendors on the technical implementation of new features and practices, including the review of updates to C3 websites, point-of-sale systems, ecommerce platforms, and in-store digital displays, with emphasis on optimizing customer experience.
- Support and execute digital merchandising strategies based on sales data, inventory levels, seasonal trends, and customer behavior analytics.
- Implement optimizations of category page layouts, filters, and sorting options to enhance user experience and product discovery.
- Collaborate with customer service team to address product-related customer feedback and improve digital experience.
- Implement personalization strategies based on customer segmentation, purchase history, and browsing behavior.
- Partner with Buying and Planning and Marketing team to implement dynamic pricing strategies and promotional structures.
- Coordinate with the Buying and Planning team on new product launches and highlights, ensuring smooth, comprehensive launches across platforms.
- Ensure discounts are optimally presented and organized across digital platforms for customer conversion and alignment with retail strategy.
- Help facilitate implementation of product content and optimizations, including product descriptions, specifications, compliance information, and SEO-friendly copy.
- Assist in digital asset management workflow for product photography, videos, and graphic elements across all platforms.
- Ensure compliance with cannabis advertising regulations while maximizing product appeal and conversion potential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, or related field.
- 3+ years of ecommerce merchandising or related digital platform management experience.
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in digital marketing platforms, POS systems, product catalog management, and Microsoft Excel.
- High-level understanding of how various digital platforms and systems can work together, whether it be directly via API connection, or indirectly via intermediate processes or platforms.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and implementation.
