Role Description

The Corporate Trainer and Development Specialist owns and supports the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for all corporate departments. This includes enterprise-wide leadership development, employee soft-skill development, compliance training, and the governance of the Learning Management System (LMS). The role partners closely with the Operations Training team to ensure a unified learning strategy—Operations Training leads operations-specific learning while this role drives corporate-wide training initiatives, competency development, and leadership readiness across the organization.

We are looking for a dynamic Corporate Trainer who can bridge the gap between employee potential and organizational goals. This role is equal parts strategist, facilitator, and technologist, responsible for shaping the end-to-end corporate learning experience—from new-hire onboarding to leadership readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & New Hire Support
    • Lead the New Hire Orientation (NHO) program to ensure a seamless transition for all incoming staff.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for new employees during their first 90 days, providing resources and “culture checks.”
    • Collaborate with department leaders to create role-specific onboarding pathways that improve engagement and reduce time to productivity.
  • Training Development & Delivery
    • Design and facilitate high-impact internal training sessions focused on technical skills, soft skills, and company-wide initiatives.
    • Create diverse learning materials including CBTs, slide decks, manuals, and interactive e-learning modules.
    • Conduct regular needs assessments to identify performance gaps and build targeted training solutions.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics, analytics, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • LMS Oversight & Administration
    • Serve as the Primary Administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS).
    • Develop and manage enterprise-wide course design, learning pathway design, and rollout of leadership development and soft-skill programs.
    • Oversee user enrollment, course assignments, and curriculum updates.
    • Track and report on key training metrics (completion rates, assessment scores, ROI).
  • Compliance & Regulatory Training
    • Develop, deliver, and monitor mandatory HIPAA privacy and security training to ensure proper handling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
    • Ensure 100% completion of all required annual compliance certifications, including harassment prevention and workplace safety.
    • Maintain accurate training records in both the LMS and HRIS to support internal and external audits.
    • Translate complex legal and privacy policies into clear, digestible learning modules.
  • Soft Skill & Leadership Development
    • Develop and deliver workshops on communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and other soft skills.
    • Build and support leadership development resources for emerging leaders and first-time managers.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture
    • Design and implement initiatives that strengthen employee morale, retention, and cultural alignment.
    • Analyze engagement survey data to develop “culture-first” learning interventions.
    • Support internal communication strategies to ensure employees remain informed and connected to the company mission.

Qualifications

  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear, accessible training content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across corporate departments and with Operations Training.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to shifting business needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple training topics and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience developing or maintaining user guides, training materials, or LMS content.
  • Cross-departmental communication skills; experience working with Operations Training, Marketing, Product, and other key business units is a plus.

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., Workday, TalentLMS, Lessonly, Cornerstone) and instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate Rise, Canva).
  • Communication: Exceptional public speaking and "people skills" to engage diverse audiences.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, including content management and organizational design.
  • Master’s degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or related field.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in Corporate Training, L&D, or HR.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Business, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office.

  • Career Growth Opportunities: We help you thrive, so together, we can grow. We provide opportunities to advance your career with a vast portfolio of businesses and a global footprint.
  • Paid Training: Earn while you learn and continue to grow with access to internal and external learning opportunities.
