Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required with a major or emphasis in Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of related experience as a Field Premium Auditor required
- Carrier experience preferred
- Associate in Premium Auditing (APA), Certified Insurance Premium Auditor (CIPA), or Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must have a good working knowledge of Commercial Lines policies (i.e., Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, other commercial lines coverages as applicable)
- Experience working with WCRIB, NCCI, and other independent bureaus is highly desirable
- Must be aware of and understand a variety of payroll and accounting systems, and the differences in Workers’ Compensation jurisdictions
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
- Solid math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
