Aero is a growing Part 135 operator delivering premium on-demand charter solutions. As a startup operator, we combine operational control with a retail-focused, client-first sales strategy. We are building a nimble, revenue-driven team that understands both aircraft operations and competitive charter brokerage dynamics.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
Aero is seeking a Charter Sales Associate with 5+ years of private aviation charter retail sales experience. Although Aero is an operator, this role requires a retail charter sales mindset — someone who understands pricing strategy, sourcing, margin management, and how to close high-value charter transactions in a competitive marketplace. This is a revenue-producing role for a sales professional who can generate business, build and maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to scaling a startup operation.
\n- Generate and close on-demand charter sales across both retail and wholesale channels
- Manage full sales lifecycle, from inquiry through post-flight follow-up
- Price trips competitively while maintaining and protecting company marginSource supplemental lift when required
- Develop and maintain relationships with high net worth individuals, executives, brokers, and travel advisors
- Conduct outbound prospecting to expand and grow client baseCollaborate closely with Flight Operations to align aircraft availability and trip feasibility
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including pipeline and revenue forecasting
- Represent Aero at industry events and client meetings (light travel required)
- Minimum 5+ years of direct retail charter sales experience
- Background working at a charter brokerage or retail charter division of an operator
- Demonstrated history of closing and managing revenue targets
- Deep understanding of: Aircraft categories (Light through Heavy/ULR), Charter market pricing fluctuations, Retail markup and margin structure, Part 135 operational limitations, Domestic and international trip logistics
- Experience sourcing lift beyond controlled fleet
- Strong negotiation skills
- Pay: $85,000-$105,000 per year plus commission - exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
