• Implement and manage performance review cycles. • Establish clear performance expectations and support PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) processes. • Manage FMLA and/or parental leave requests and HR-related updates. • Support managers with professional development and management guidance. • Maintain and update the employee handbook as needed. • Function as the people policy expert, addressing questions for the team. • Ensure HR practices align with company policies and regulations. • Oversee benefit elections and support employees through enrollment processes. • Coordinate with insurance brokers/providers and manage insurance-related updates. • Assist with open enrollment & COBRA and ensure accurate documentation and compliance. • Identify and implement culture-building initiatives in a remote work environment. • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to leadership. • Work closely with the Junior Chief of Staff to ensure alignment across HR initiatives. • Report directly to the Chief of Staff on HR strategy and operational matters.
