Role Description
We currently have an opening for a Project Architect. We are hiring for remote work in any location within the US.
- Responsible for the delivery of projects from a defined conceptual design through production and construction phases.
- Execute and/or oversee the production of the design and construction documents.
- Coordinate across the multidisciplinary team to ensure the drawings and specifications properly represent design intent.
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations, zoning and building codes, and building industry standards.
- Anticipate and proactively lead the team and client to project solutions that are informed and constructible.
- Partner with account leadership and leads across multiple disciplines to contribute to WD's collaborative and integrated team culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Registered Architect (RA) is required; LEED AP is helpful.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD is required.
- Advanced experience leading and/or assisting in the production of architectural documentation across all assigned projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and project timelines.
- Ability to ensure high quality work, free from error, and in compliance with applicable codes.
- Previous experience supporting retail, restaurant, grocery, and/or healthcare projects is ideal.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Architect (RA) is required for this title.
- If you don't have your architectural licensure yet, consideration for other roles such as Project Manager or varying levels of Designer titles is available.
