Job Description
Role Description
Index Analytics is seeking a high-energy Product Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our core software initiatives, with a primary focus on managing the MuleSoft integration of our Salesforce ecosystem with various legacy applications. You will be the "delivery engine" for the team, ensuring that business requirements are translated into technical reality and shipped on time. Expertise required in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities
- Own the full software product lifecycle, leading initiatives from early discovery and requirements gathering through development, UAT and final production release.
- Drive Agile execution by maintaining a healthy backlog, leading sprint ceremonies, monitoring team velocity, and ensuring deadlines and milestones are consistently met.
- Translate complex or ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and Functional Specifications that reduce engineering rework and accelerate delivery.
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies across systems and teams, proactively removing technical blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
- Serve as the primary communication bridge between executive leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding across all phases of delivery.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States and able to demonstrate physical residency in the U.S. for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years. Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Public Trust security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO) or Scrum certification are preferred.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience, including five (5) or more years in Product Management or Technical Project Management within a software delivery environment.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation suites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce objects and standard business processes (Sales, Service, or Marketing Cloud) to ensure integrations meet end-user needs.
- General understanding of how data moves between modern SaaS and legacy on-premise systems (e.g., APIs, batch processing). MuleSoft experience a nice to have.
- Experience working on projects that involve extracting data from older legacy applications.
- Experience coordinating complex deployments that involve multiple moving parts and testing environments.
