What we are looking for:

A driven and mission-focused Digital Marketing Intern to support digital experience for the Marketing and Communications team. The digital marketing team is at the forefront of Prison Fellowship's efforts to build ministry awareness and drive meaningful engagement with our constituents and potential audiences.

Expectations of this role:

  • Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
  • Assist with email coordination, creation, and scheduling
  • Assist with brainstorming and copywriting for social media posts, ads, and responses
  • Assist with various web projects including maintenance and optimization updates
  • Develop reports on digital marketing research and performance updates
  • Support the team through various administrative tasks as needed
  • Other projects as determined by needs and skills
  • This is a remote/work from home position

Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing skills, preferred experience using email automation software
  • Preferred area of study: communications and/or marketing
  • Research analysis and data organization skills, experience with web development and SEO preferred
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, experience building marketing reports preferred
  • Proficiency in Windows & MS Office including Excel
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills

What we offer:

A team oriented, mission driven, supportive environment with cutting edge technology solutions and tremendous opportunity for growth and development. The start and end dates are flexible but this internship is approximately eight weeks long and 40 hours per week. The rate of pay for this full-time, 40 hours/week internship position is projected to be between $16.00 and $20.00 per hour.
