The Field Service Technician I is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, performing preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibrating and verifying Company devices at customer sites, which include municipal and industrial facilities. This involves daily travel to customer sites, some of which may involve servicing instruments in NEC hazardous locations.

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting advanced battery energy storage systems onsite, serving as the technical authority to ensure peak performance, safety, and reliability. Key duties include diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and software issues, providing customer support and training, and accurately documenting all service activities.

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring quick resolution of complex customer challenges and empowering team members with functional knowledge, while also playing a key role in contributing to business growth beyond service. Responsibilities include conducting service, repair, installation, and technical expertise tasks for Sample Preparation Systems (Nano) at customer sites.

This role leads the delivery of JCB’s customer support strategy in the assigned region by developing a strong and capable dealer support network to meet or exceed established metrics. Key accountabilities include ensuring efficient handling of dealer/customer queries, conducting technical service training, and assisting dealers with business planning and product support systems.
