Role Description
The Event Marketing Summer Intern will support the Event Marketing Team in planning, coordinating and executing high-impact marketing events. This role offers hands-on experience in event strategy, logistics, branding and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced marketing environment.
This internship is ideal for a student pursuing marketing, communications, business, hospitality or a related field who is eager to gain real-world experience in event management and marketing for both internal and external-facing events.
This internship will run for up to 10 weeks, up to 40 hours per week, commencing on June 1st and concluding by August 7th.
What You’ll Do
- Data gathering, validation and analysis.
- Assist with the creation of MOPs (Method of Procedures), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures).
- Replicate MOPs, SOPs, EOPs across the platform where similar equipment exists.
- Work with existing Facility Engineers to update equipment records.
- Collaborate with Compliance team members who will provide direction, feedback, and mentorship throughout the internship.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program from an accredited college/university as a rising junior/senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology and Management or similar engineering degree.
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a willingness to ask questions and take guidance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with existing written documentation and making updates based on provided standards.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while being part of a collaborative team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Enthusiasm for gaining practical, real-world experience in data center environments.
- Ability to travel several times during the internship to one of our markets.
Nice to Have Qualifications
- Reside in one of Cologix data center markets.
- Interest in data center environments and their supporting infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution and HVAC systems.
- Exposure to popular CRM platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.
Compensation
$23 - $23 an hour
