Role Description

The Senior Workforce Analyst plays a critical role in advancing Safelite's workforce and capacity planning capabilities. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, field leaders, and cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance analytical tools and processes that improve visibility into workforce performance and support effective capacity decision-making. This position balances hands‑on analytical work with forward‑looking solution design—developing scrappy, high-impact tools while laying the groundwork for future scalable systems, intelligence layers, and long‑term workforce capability maturity.

  • Design and build analytical models and tools to support capacity planning, operational visibility, and field execution.
  • Develop iterative solutions that drive immediate value while informing scalable future-state approaches.
  • Partner closely with field and business stakeholders to understand operational workflows, pain points, and capacity challenges.
  • Gather input that shapes tool design, analytical models, and planning frameworks, ensuring solutions are grounded in real operational needs.
  • Develop and refine foundational workforce planning concepts, including capacity models, staffing frameworks, scenario analyses, and demand/supply visibility tools.
  • Advance the organization’s workforce capability maturity through analytical and process innovation.
  • Build and maintain intelligence layers and automated processes, enabling proactive insights, alerting, and improved decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical partners to productionize successful prototypes into stable, scalable solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and interpretability across workforce metrics, tools, and processes.
  • Establish and uphold standards, definitions, and governance frameworks that improve workforce data stewardship.
  • Provide analysis, training, documentation, and ongoing support to business and field stakeholders, empowering teams to leverage workforce insights effectively in their daily operations and planning decisions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Statistics, or related quantitative field or equivalent (Required)
  • Master's Degree in Analytics, Statistics, or related quantitative field (Preferred)
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in analytics workforce planning, capacity modeling, operations analysis, or similar fields (Required)
  • 1-3 years of experience building analytical tools and designing processes that transition from scrappy prototypes to scalable solutions (Required)
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Python proficiency for automation, data transformation, and tool development
  • Advanced Excel expertise (PowerQuery, advanced formulas, model design)
  • Ability to design scalable systems, data structures, or analytical frameworks
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and business acumen with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable models and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and cross-functional partners, incorporating real-world feedback into solution design
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and clearly
  • Demonstrated experience performing complex data analysis and providing guidance to others on the use of analytical tools
  • Familiarity with common KPIs used in the industry, including conversion metrics, order funnels, Net Promoter Score, price elasticity, workforce management, call center KPIs, etc.
  • Proficiency in industry-leading BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of forecasting techniques and statistical modeling (Preferred)
  • Experience in workforce/capacity planning, operational modeling, or service operations analytics (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with operational KPIs and workforce metrics (Preferred)
