Job DetailsJob Location: Texas work at home - Houston, TX 77065Position Type: Full Time                                                                                IT Applications Developer 2 Summary: IT Applications Developer for Alliance Safety Council is a senior-level position responsible for designing and writing code for software applications and ensuring the software operates according to specifications.   Supervisory Responsibilities This position requires no supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain software applications backend using .NET and C#. Design, develop, and maintain software applications frontend using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices. Debug and resolve software defects and issues. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   While performing the duties of an Applications Developer, the employee must be able to sit for extended periods of time, regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop and kneel and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Work Schedule: The work schedule of the Applications Developer is Monday – Friday, at least 8 hours per day.  Works overtime as required       Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-7 years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET and C#. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with database technologies like SQL Server. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
