Role Description

This role offers a hands-on opportunity to manage and optimize global benefits, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across multiple regions including the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Australia. You will serve as the go-to expert for employees and HR teams, guiding them through plan enrollment, compliance, and day-to-day administration. The position requires close collaboration with HR Operations and external vendors while owning the operational execution of programs such as 401(k), RRSP, TFSA, pension, and superannuation plans. In addition, you will lead employee education initiatives, wellness campaigns, and benefits communications to ensure employees are informed and empowered. Success in this role is measured by seamless program administration, positive employee experience, and contribution to global total rewards strategy.

  • Manage global benefits, retirement, wellness, and leave programs end-to-end across multiple regions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries, providing clear guidance on benefits, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Lead employee education sessions, open enrollment, and ongoing wellness and retirement communications.
  • Oversee enrollments, data reconciliation, and vendor coordination for global retirement programs including 401(k), RRSP, TFSA, pension, and superannuation.
  • Track metrics and provide insights to inform leadership and improve total rewards strategy.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, and workflows, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Partner with HR Operations and Finance to support audits, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in benefits administration, including healthcare, leave management, and COBRA.
  • 2+ years administering global retirement plans, including 401(k), RRSP, TFSA, pension, or superannuation programs.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Rippling preferred) for enrollment, reporting, and vendor reconciliation.
  • Experience presenting and simplifying complex benefits information to employees across multiple channels.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of leave laws, compliance, and retirement regulations across multiple countries.
  • Preferred certifications: CEBS, SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent international credentials.
  • Analytical skills to reconcile data, track metrics, and provide actionable insights.
