Job Description

We are seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee construction projects across multiple job sites. This role is fully remote but requires travel to project locations as needed to manage field operations and ensure work is completed according to plans, schedule, and safety standards.

The Field Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, monitor project progress, and serve as the primary on-site construction leader when visiting project locations. This role is suited for a construction professional who is comfortable managing multiple projects, maintaining communication with internal teams, and ensuring field execution aligns with project expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee field operations for construction projects, ensuring work is completed according to plans and specifications
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain project schedules and productivity
  • Conduct job-site visits as needed to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope requirements to guide field execution
  • Identify and resolve field issues to minimize delays and maintain project timelines
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and leadership regarding project status and site conditions
  • Ensure job-site safety standards are maintained and comply with OSHA guidelines
  • Track construction progress and provide updates on schedules, challenges, and milestones
  • Support coordination of inspections, material deliveries, and field logistics

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in construction field supervision or superintendent roles
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and job-site coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both field and office teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required
  • Familiarity with construction project management tools and reporting systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience supervising commercial construction projects
  • Background working across multiple job sites simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating remote teams and field personnel
  • OSHA safety certification or equivalent safety training
