Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.34228)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires:

1. Software design, development, testing, and deployment;
2. Java or Python;
3. ReactJS, Angular or TypeScript;
4. REST API development and web services;
5. Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals;
6. Cloud platforms: AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar environments;
7. Containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools as like Kubernetes;
8. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools as like Terraform;
9. Microservices architecture;
10. CI/CD tools as like Jenkins or similar;
11. Version control systems: Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket;
12. Messaging/queue systems as like Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ;
13. SQL or NoSQL databases; and,
14. Unit testing frameworks and testing methodologies.
