Integrated Business Planning (IBP) brings together forecasting, planning, and execution across marketing, sales, finance, procurement, manufacturing, and customer service into a unified process. This integration ensures alignment across the enterprise, leading to superior customer outcomes.
Agilent is building our enterprise planning capabilities to drive IBP across the business by establishing a centralized Planning Excellence Team (PET). This team will continue our Ignite IBP transformation journey which will strengthen our competitive advantage by enabling faster, more reliable planning. The IBP Supply Planning Steward role will bring key Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and S&OE (Sales and Operations Execution) capabilities to the PET team.
As the IBP Supply Planning Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality supply planning by governing core supply planning standards, and enabling a reliable, integrated S&OE/S&OP process. Supports planners with modeling, capability building, and scenario analysis to drive feasible, aligned supply responses across the enterprise.
Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly supply review process, ensuring consistent structure, decision-making, and alignment across regions, sites, and product lines
- Support modeling and analysis of supply capability (RCCP, inventory, constraints) to validate feasibility of the supply plan
- Maintain and enforce supply planning standards, including master data parameters (lead times, capacities, planning calendars)
- Provide global visibility to constraints and bottlenecks and escalate systemic risks to the Planning Excellence AVP
- Ensure cross-functional scenario planning to resolve supply/demand imbalances and work with supply planners to identify recovery options
- Support development of inventory policies and ensure governance adherence across the network
- Coordinate continuous improvement in supply planning processes, templates, and maturity practices
- Partner with planners and sites to improve accuracy, stability, and transparency of supply plans
- Consolidate supply planning insights into reporting packages for S&OE/S&OP forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
- Typically, at least 5+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Extensive knowledge and specialized expertise in planning or supply processes
- Strong executive presence and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to assess complex business problems and deliver impactful results.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with different levels of management.
- Self-motivated and capable of operating independently.
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least March 17, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $116,800.00 - $182,500.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
