Kapitus is seeking a high-performing Senior Product Owner to drive the delivery and evolution of critical financial products and internal platforms. This role is ideal for a product operator who thrives in complex, regulated environments and wants to own initiatives that directly impact revenue, risk management, and operational scale.

You will serve as the accountable product owner for key product areas, translating strategic priorities into high-quality execution. Working closely with Product leadership, Engineering, Sales, Risk, Legal, and Operations, you will ensure that product investments drive measurable business outcomes while maintaining compliance and system integrity.

This is a high-ownership role with meaningful visibility and impact.

What You’ll Do:

End-to-End Product Ownership

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for assigned platforms or initiatives
  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with architectural standards
  • Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, release coordination, and delivery predictability
  • Reduce ambiguity and proactively resolve requirement gaps before development

Drive Measurable Business Impact

  • Ensure product enhancements improve revenue performance, underwriting efficiency, sales conversion, or operational throughput
  • Define initiative-level success metrics and monitor post-release performance
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend scalable system improvements
  • Support data-driven prioritization decisions grounded in ROI and risk considerations

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Facilitate alignment across Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Engineering
  • Confidently engage in executive or cross-departmental forums when needed
  • Manage stakeholder expectations with transparency and discipline

Operate in a Regulated Environment

  • Incorporate compliance, risk, and audit considerations into product design
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory and internal control standards
  • Partner with Legal and Risk teams to mitigate exposure while maintaining speed

Elevate Product Discipline

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product processes, documentation standards, and delivery practices
  • Promote strong requirement quality and structured decision-making
  • Support scalable product operations as the organization grows

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–10+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role
  • Experience in fintech, lending, financial services, or other regulated/risk-managed environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business outcomes in revenue-generating or operationally critical systems
  • Deep experience managing Agile backlogs and partnering with engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of sales systems, underwriting workflows, or financial processing systems
  • Experience working with API-based integrations and distributed systems
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting data to inform prioritization
  • Ability to operate independently, manage complexity, and create clarity in ambiguous environments
  • High ownership mindset with strong accountability for delivery outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce or sales-related infrastructure
  • Familiarity with underwriting, risk, or credit platforms
  • Experience with marketplace or multi-partner integrations
  • CSPO or similar Agile certification
