Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, and/or advanced degree in management, marketing, or business desirable/preferred
- Work Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing or medical affairs experience or medical communications agency experience, with experience successfully managing and growing $2.5M+ pharma/healthcare accounts
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Internet
- PowerPoint design proficiency

The Enterprise Account Executive will manage client accounts in the higher education sector, promoting nursing curriculum materials, patient simulations, and NCLEX prep products to educators, deans, and directors. Responsibilities include driving revenue growth through successful implementation, identifying client needs via solution-based selling, and providing exceptional customer service to grow the Elsevier footprint.
This role involves playing a key part in growing the Public Sector sales team by focusing on a single market, owning demand generation, managing partnerships, and executing full-cycle software sales. The executive will be responsible for building territory pipeline through outbound efforts and referrals, creating opportunities, and closing deals within the defined territory.
