• Work tightly with cross-functional teams to analyze risks, to evaluate internal controls, support internal audit activities, and to understand current business operations and future developments • Own remediation plans and follow through from discovery to completion • Support the Internal Audit function by performing control assessments, spot checks, and remediation activities • Monitor for and assess risks presented by patterns and evolving risk trends • Evaluate and document internal controls and required mitigations • Understand and process information received by risk and audit teams • Participate in reviews of data and reports provided to external parties and stakeholders • Assist in the identification of risks to be managed • Conduct audits and reviews of company activities • Conduct risk assessments of internal and external vendors, jurisdictions, regulations, competitors, services, and a variety of other topics • Develop and advise on risk mitigation strategies • Collaborate with various departments as needed
