Role Description
As an Associate UX/Product Designer, you will report to the UX Manager and be part of a team of designers, researchers, and content strategists. Your mission is to lead design efforts for a Scrum team, crafting and delivering top-notch user experiences for property management professionals. Additionally, you will also be contributing to the annual UX team initiatives.

- Communicate, present, and share work in progress effectively.
- Collaborate and solicit feedback proactively.
- Report progress regularly to your UX Manager.
- Develop a UX network within and outside of Buildium.

- Collaborate with teams to articulate and align on problem statements based on research.
- Gain awareness of design thinking.
- Prioritize and scope work collaboratively.
- Explore concepts and narrow to the best solution through research and collaboration.
- Apply and execute appropriate research methods.
- Get design work shipped.
- Gain familiarity with our design system and learn to design with its components.
- Deliver UI that follows our fundamentals.
- Set and meet monthly, weekly, and daily goals.
- Understand KPIs for projects and ensure they measure the problem/solution.
- Work with other designers to achieve top-notch results.
- Prioritize effectively while managing time efficiently.

Specific metrics of success:
- Contribute to product delivery strategy by leading product design in a scrum team.
- Deliver discovery outcomes and initial designs ahead of planned implementation dates.
- Contribute to expanding and growing UX Initiatives focused on process improvements and innovation.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
- 1+ years of UX design and/or product design experience.
- Fluency in Figma and other commonly-used design tools.
- Fluency in user-centered design principles and testing methodologies.
- Ability to clearly present and communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology; ability to manage design work for 2-3 projects.
- Experience creating or working with Design Systems.
Nice to have
- Experience in the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market and/or B2B products.

Compensation
Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonuses and sales incentives.
