Role Description
As a Primary Therapist, you’ll work thoughtfully with our patients to develop and implement their individualized treatment plans. This role will consist of:
- Conducting individual therapy meetings
- Collaborating with patients’ outpatient teams
- Leading patients through their overall treatment program
You’ll partner closely with the entirety of our treatment teams, including Group Therapists, Family Therapists, and Prescribers to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.
Hours will be approximately 12pm - 8pm CT. Candidates with Maryland licensure are preferred. Preference for candidates based in Minnesota with an active, full clinical license. Candidates based in Illinois with an active, full clinical license will also be considered.
What You'll Do:
- Completing initial intake evaluations to determine diagnosis and appropriateness for program
- Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
- Overseeing initial and continuing insurance needs of patients
- Meeting with patients individually to assess progress and guide treatment planning
- Coordinating care with patient’s individual providers to ensure continuity of care
- Assessing patient’s progress and need for higher level of care or discharge
- Communicating with patient’s family members or support system when indicated
- Charting in our electronic medical records system
- Engaging in crisis management
- Providing group therapy, as needed
Qualifications
- Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist with clinical license (required)
- 2+ years clinical work experience post-Master’s (strongly preferred)
- Have knowledge and experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
- Have experience with patients in crisis, ideally prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting
Requirements
- Expected compensation range: $55,000 — $90,000 USD
