Job Description

• Support execution of retrofit projects including installation, power up, and commissioning of Excitation control solutions, Static Starter control solutions, HMI upgrades, and TIL implementation • Provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor in support of a power equipment outage • Execute policy/strategy using in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking • Propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience • Lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Power generation, generator controls, and or turbine controls
advanced experience in Field Service and Technical Advising in the Power Generation Industry
ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
ability to travel for weeks at a time; 50% travel as required
