Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline or similar
- Minimum 10 years direct experience in power plant design and construction
- Minimum of 10 years of direct design, development and deployment experience of power plants for complex, high reliability, and harsh environment or similar facilities in the power, process, marine industries.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing and directing an Engineering Team of 10-20 persons
- Licensed Professional Engineer – US, Canada or Other
- Advanced Degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in areas applicable to Design of Power plants.
- Working knowledge and ability to apply codes and standards in the USA, Canada and EU.
- Working knowledge of geotechnical testing and reporting necessary for construction on a specific site.
- Working knowledge of grubbing, grading (drainage), and excavation design for power plant implementation on specific sites.
- Working knowledge of the structural design and analysis related to the design of Steam Turbine foundations and buildings
- Working knowledge of the structural design and analysis related to the design of Control & Electrical buildings.
- Proven ability to be a liaison between organizations that are operating in separate geographic locations
- High performing individual with demonstrated ability to deliver results while exhibiting behaviors that promote strong team performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market and manage programs that further the knowledge, understanding and capability of the business.
