Job Description
Role Description
This role is a fixed-term contract (FTC) supporting a U.S.-based team with workflow automation and process management. The successful candidate will help build, test, and optimize workflows using HubSpot, Make.com, and ClickUp, ensuring operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
The Automation & Workflow Assistant will:
- Take assigned tasks from start to finish, ensuring each workflow is fully implemented and tested
- Translate operational processes into structured, logic-driven automation workflows
- Work closely with a U.S.-based team to identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements
- Manage workflow automations across HubSpot, Make.com, and ClickUp
This is ideal for a detail-oriented, reliable professional who enjoys process optimization, and testing workflows end-to-end.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time, subject to daylight savings in the U.S.)
- Public Holidays: You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays. Compensation for South African public holidays will be provided in accordance with the BCEA.
- Internet Requirements: Fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download), and support for a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Candidates without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding or outages. Candidates without backup cannot be considered.

Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot automations, Make.com, and ClickUp
- Experience with other CRMs (Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive) is advantageous
- Familiarity with workflow logic, task automation, and cross-platform integrations
- Extremely detail-oriented, methodical, and reliable
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable asking questions for clarification and ensuring work is done correctly rather than making assumptions
