Role Description

If so, the Program and Support Unit is excited to announce an opening for a Departmental Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic support group responsible for maintaining and continually improving the Bureau’s Quality Assurance and Training functions.

Our analysts take on a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Collaborating and communicating with staff across the Bureau
  • Researching and presenting new performance metrics
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience
  • Supporting quality assurance initiatives and training efforts

Knowledge of Treasury systems and applications is recommended, however, not required.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Experience for Departmental Analyst 9-P11:
    • No specific type or amount is required for Departmental Analyst 9.
    • One year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 10.
    • Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service for Departmental Analyst P11.
  • For Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9 (FOR CLASSIFIED STATE EMPLOYEES ONLY):
    • Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
    • Four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
    • OR Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
    • OR Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or paraprofessional classification.
    • OR Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
    • OR One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.

Requirements

  • College credits may be substituted on a proportional basis (one year of college education may substitute for one quarter of the required experience) for up to one half of the required experience.
  • Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
  • For those applicants with military service, please provide your DD214 or other official military documentation that may help identify transferable skills and experience that may qualify in lieu of the required education.

  • This position is eligible to work remotely on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and must work onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
